Jean Dubuffet's Sculpture Gift Package
Medium: clear film,
Size: 6*3.75
Date: 2011 spring
This is a paper takeaway gift I made based on the sculpture work from Dubuffet in Chicago downtown loop at the end of1960s. During that time, Dubuffet's work typically consisted of red, white, black and blue colors. I made my gift as a mini accordion fold sculpture that people can recreate new images by folding in different directions. In order to represent his work as a whole, I also used his signature color palette of red and blue on the package to not only reconstruct the sculpture itself, but also the concept of Dubuffet's art in one box.
