Animal Farm by George Orwell is a novel left me with a strong impression. The gray tone of the cover represents the darkness of the plot in this novel. The scanned grid of cutting matte is a metaphor of farmland resembling small black squares where animals lived. A horse named Boxer is significant in the plot of this novel, and that is why I included him on this book cover.
